Most New Years resolutions last only a few days or even hours (!) and they often bring tons of guilt with them, when we fail, but one thing we can do makes all the difference.
Sometimes the simplest things make the biggest difference.
Make good choices.
Yes, I know it’s obvious, I’m almost embarrassed to write it – but it’s true.
There’s no getting away from it, we are all a result of the choices we make.
Sure, life throws curve balls and challenges, I’ve known quite a few of them myself.
But, after 42 years of learning on this planet I can tell you now that making good choices in 2013 will have the greatest impact on your life, your family and your work.
Deciding to keep on going instead of giving up, deciding to prioritise a relationship instead of work, deciding to believe in your strengths not your weaknesses.
Whatever it has to be in 2013 for you, you know, you decide, no one else can do that for you.
We can’t control everything that happens to us, but we can always decide how we react to these things and how we approach daily life.
What’s your priorities for 2013?
Ask those closest to you, don’t just keep them a secret.
Have a great 2013!
Best wishes,
